The materials I use to create sculptures with rarely relate to the objects original intended purpose. By shifting the function of a familiar object, my artwork can be enjoyed on various levels. Using organic and industrial reclaimed materials, my mixed media constructions combine elements of sculpture, painting and collage. I enjoy altering old, discarded materials to create new, sensuous and intriguing objects that arouse emotions, thought, discussion and interaction.
